Thanks to you, we have won the Best New Artist / Group Award at the 2012 Maple Blues Awards in Toronto.  It was said when we were first nominated that coming from a small town was a real detriment working against us but we showed them that when little towns ban together, we can do anything!!!

Thank you thank you thank you to everyone who voted for us!  We are so very grateful for all your love and support. 

We are going to be throwing a killer party on the weekend of January 27th sometime and we'll keep you posted. We are just looking for a venue.

Hi there,

So, as you know, we've been nominated for a Maple Blues Award and are planning to fly down to Toronto on January 15th to attend the awards ceremony, but we've also just found out that we made the Roots Music Report Top 100 list  for blues albums with the most radio play globally!!  Sweet!!!  I mean... WOW!  

We are so so grateful for all the wonderful support!! 

Our next show is January 14th at the Vernon Jazz Club.  For ticket info, Click Here. The show starts at 8pm.

The VJC is a really cool venue so if you can make it over to Vernon, please make the trip.  And as a special treat, we are blessed to be playing with Steve Soucy.  It's going to be an awesome night!!

Also, we have a couple of cool shows coming up.  First, Sabrina Weeks and Swing Cat Bounce are performing at the Noble Pig as part of the Kamloops Art Gallery Fundraiser.  Tickets are $40.  For more info, contact the Art Gallery.

Next, Sabrina Weeks and Mike Hilliard are playing as part of the "Storytellers of Song" dinner and show on November 16th at the On the Rocks Pub and Grill.  Cocktails start at 5:30 pm. Tickets are $40 and are available by contacting me or at the pub.  George Leach is headlining this show.

Then, drum roll please... we are opening for the Downchild Blues Band on November 18th at the Kamloops Convention Centre.  Tickets are $40 and available at http://www.kamloopsconventioncentre.ca/events/downchild/

Well, it is time to celebrate!!!

As you may or may not know, last summer, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and throughout the winter, I have been going through the various cancer treatments.

Come out and celebrate the end of surgery, chemotherapy, radiation and breast cancer and the beginning of a new phase of my life full of love, appreciation, gratitude and much more music. 

Of course, the best way that I could think of to celebrate this feat is to play music and have all you lovely folks join me.  My band, Swing Cat Bounce, and I are gonna rock… er blues… er bounce all night long (or at least until midnight! LOL!)

The event will take place on June 4^th.  The doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm.  Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door and are available at the Plaza Front Desk.
